Mrs Scwaggy cleaned 2 mobiles this morning. Departing Dutch family Sat Nav decided not to work for their journey home, Tent family also left today. New Dutch arrivals arrived at lunch time so Mrs Scwaggy showed them to their mobile and directions to the supermarket.
Stray kitten still here, gave it some water and food. Weather has turned very windy this evening. Chester staying close to home today for some reason.
Yesterdays arrivals got ants in the mobile home, Mr Scwaggy put down ant repellent stuff, they seem ok with that.
Mr Scwaggy attending to our final arrival of the day. Store tent guy coming for tea at 7 and staying the night, him and Mr Scwaggy going to a motobike show tomorrow morning.

Work Daze
3 departures this morning, had them all cleaned and back home for lunch at 12.30. Stray cat hanging around, very friendly and affectionate but seems have disappeared this afternoon. Waiting for 1 afternoon arrival then another days work over.
Quiet afternoon, Mrs Scwaggy read a book. Mr Scwaggy's son came by for a visit early evening, had a few beers at the bar, Mrs Scwaggy attended to our final arrival of the day, elderly couple, they all seem to be late 60's early 70's enjoying travelling around.
Headed back home for tea, but got talking to the nice couple opposite us who are departing tomorrow, had some beers with them and had a good chat - lovely people, said they had a fab time. They are in their early 70's.
Finally got our tea at 9.30pm.

Day off Daze
Hot and sunny today. No departures and no arrivals today so we could have a day off. Had a little lie in and then drove to Rocamadour which is a town built into the rock hillside. Had lunch overlooking this town, did a food shop in the supermarket. Left the bathroom window open for Chester to get back into the mobile, he managed to jump up himself, Mr and Mrs Heater offered to look after him and help him through the window if he couldn't manage it himself!
Showed campsite owners plans Mr Scwaggy had drawn up for them for their bar and kitchen area, they seem pleased and impressed .
Read a little, had strawberries and ice cream, now back at bar for a quick drink.
Nice Dutch family who wished us good luck for the season and said we are doing a good job, we told them they didn't have to check out at 10 tomorrow morning and that they can take their time, they were very pleased with that.
Back to work tomorrow, well if you can call it work!
Bonne Nuit

Hazey daze
Last night watched football Barcelona v Real Madrid in the bar with Mrs and Mrs Heater, really nice people. This morning only one clean to do, New arrivals and Mr and Mr Heater told us Chester was trying to climb back into the mobile through the bathroom window, everyone loves Chester.
Mr and Mrs Heater bought us some fresh strawberries from Sarlat market. Had a coffee with Store tent guy this morning and this afternoon the maintenance couple came on site, had lunch and a cuppa with them. Weather a bit cloudy and a bit chilly today. Now we are sitting in the bar watching cartoons with campsite owners kids, life is good.

Quieter Daze!
A slow start to the week which is great for us!
An electric storm has freshened up the air overnight and a hot day to day.
We called around to Heater man and his wife and ended up staying for beers whilst we explained the costs in staying longer at this terrific camp site. honestly every one of our customers have left wanting to either return or extend their stay! it is a fabulous place..................
Treasure left for us by a family leaving, Mrs Scwaggy gets very excited when we have a find! OK it was half a pound of mince in the fridge but it was FREE!!
We sorted out bicycle hire on the site for our camping family (in a tent- why?)
It was time for a move (again!) and we are now in a different mobile home. Very nice and spacious with 'ingerlish' sockets which helps. Chester is a bit uncertain of the new territory and keeps running back to our first mobile! Much to the amusement of our fellow campers!!
End of the day and here we are back at the bar - oh well such is a working life of a courier abroad!

Early daze!
22/04/11
He is Scwaggy 1, she is Scwaggy 2 the pet is Chester Fester of Perth (WA) - a fat cat no less!!
Our first week of our first year as campsite courieres! Phew what happened? Quite a lot actually..................
First day for the season 2011 and our first client is a no show for a tent! good start............
We had an electrical storm and the Germans (Herman and his son - a giant!) were the first to complain, got it sorted straight away. No electricity in the mobile homes at bottom of the hill including ours.
A fridge not working, so we had to put the clients food into another unit, Scwaggy 1 pulled out the fridge and tried the sockets and fuses - no worky.. We had booked the day off to go to out for lunch, luckilly Jimlar the maintenance guy solved the problem it was a loose wire in the roof. Also the fire needed a new battery.
Our cat Chester cut his paw on Saturday night; we only arrived on the Thursday! He ended up at the vet on Monday morning and he had anesthetic and stitches. He couldn't walk for about 2 days because the vet had used an old fashioned anesthetic, scary stuff as he slept with his eyes open! We had to get up every 2 hours to give him water.
2 families arrived in 2 taxis, no car! Are you having a larf??? 4 kids with them they had never camped before and didn't know anything about how camping worked. We had to get them extra blankets, they had arrived with no provisions. Turned out to be ok and the enjoyed their stay.
Man U v Schalke footy match on, Herman and his Giant and several english in the bar watching the game, The Maestro does not like football, but we pressured him to put it on.
Had a nice free meal and bottle of wine in the restaurant for free gratis - brilliant stuff!!
Sink pipe came away water leaked under the sink - Scwaggy 1 to the rescue!
I gave dutch family bottle of wine when they shouldn't have and forgot to give English couple their wine on arrival, had to take it to them later that evening.
Went for a meal with other courriers.
Area Boss and The Storesman came to ours for a bbq
Heater guy and wife arrived – they thought they were going to be gassed to death in their beds due to bottled gas fire and boiler! they took a lot of convincing so we gave them a plug in electric heater.
Sat night – 30/04/11 went to see Heater guy (from Essex) on our evening walk by, he said he has seen a place called Sorf Samdi ( french=sauf samedi). We had to tell him him it means except on saturdays, but he wasn't convinced.
Mr and Mrs Numpty-prawns – we saw them night before they were due to check out on their departure the next morning. They thought they were staying an extra night, we had to tell them they had only booked 4 nights not 5!
Really nice american/english family first thing he asked was if we knew the blackburn score.
Laura and mike came for a day and night on the motorbike.
Been speaking to lots of french campers – really nice and friendly. Fat man on his sun lounger enjoying his hols, he was a Jabba the Hutt and just about fitted onto the lounger.
Flipo the puppy went missing, but returned next day – naughty pup
Went to my son's parents for lunch and met them for the first time it was a great day and very haute cuisine!.
Went to Carrefour Scwaggy 1 forgot his wallet when we got to the check out, had to go to the car to get it!
Three in the morning and fast asleep – suddenly the toilet flushes! Agggghhhh burglars?? Quick send the wife to investigate the intruders (so brave am I). It was Chester the cat trying to get out of the bathroom window and had stood on the toilet flush button!! We thought that he may have gone around the bend and be swimming in ****!!!
Been at the bar every night although said we were not going to do that, spent a fortune so far , stayed in first time 30/04/11 with our own wine. Very cosy!
Fed and mothered the 2 montage lads.
The company trainer is to bring 2 couriers here for their training to see how we do things – perhaps we are doing it correct – or not! 'This is how NOT to be a courier'
Had to wait 1 week to receive our post from my mum from the UK.
A deer ran out in front of us in the car.
I slipped on the gravel and landed on my bum and bruised by hand.
Went to Le Bugue and it was heavenly to come back to our small site!
